The Peace Star™ was designed in 1989 as part of the Jewish Heirlooms™ Collection.
In 1990 I wrote: “1990. What a year! Chaos in the Persian Gulf. No easy solution to the Palestinian issue. Anti-Semitism on the rise throughout the free (?) world. Is anti-Semitism social or political? The original concept (a wax carving) for the hands of the Peace Star™ sat on my desk for over a year until Meredith told me to stop vacillating and finish the design. Well, I’ve finished it and I hope you see in the design what I had in mind: Peace on Earth and Good Will to All Mankind.” 2010: Nothing has changed! I could have written it last night.
